The Patron Beast of Eidolon

It was at this time that the patron beast of Eidolon first appeared, a strange and beautiful creature known as a Dimar. Dragon-like in appearance, the Dimar sports both scales and fur and is known to be highly magical in nature. Pursuing the Dimar quickly became popular, and should the great creature allow himself to be captured, it is said that he may grant the lucky individual a wish, though there are limits to what he is able or willing to grant. (There are those who just might note the similarity between the dimar and the purple dragon form that Corbin's Da, Jarred, was able to take. Corbin denies that they are one or the same, stating unequivocably that the dimar's name is Dimarticus, not Jarred. The similarity, however, is quite striking...)
