Eidolon is the make-believe realm of Corbin Ramsay. Corbin’s magic is such that whatsoever he fantasizes becomes real, for so long as he believes in it. The belief of others strengthens the magic, making it more difficult, if not impossible, for Corbin to dissolve the magic. Much of Eidolon is affected by the stories and songs Corbin has heard in his busy life. Eidolon began when Corbin was four, slowly growing in detail and substance as Corbin added to it, visiting his realm more and more frequently. It gained a powerful boost towards substance when Corbin created Eldorin as his imaginary playmate, visualizing Eldorin as living in Castle Eidolon when they are not together. Eldorin himself has slowly grown more and more real as he has been seen by various people, some of whom do not realize his nature, and therefore believe in his reality. Thus, Eldorin and Eidolon are integrated with each other, each dependent upon the vitality of the other.
