He then stayed on, in his new home, Rael's Hollow, to keep watch over his brother's widow, Dark Mistress, and his nephew, Jerihan. He was befriended by Cephilia, Gem's Daughter, but she then disappeard, having gone to the Mages' Temple for schooling. Attacked by Draegon, Jarred became pregnant by magic, and bore his son, Corbin. Through Merloch and the those that had known Cordell, he met and fell in love with Georgia. Following a painful and difficult relationship, they finally became engaged, but Jarred was then captured by Cyril Valkin and killed. He was resurrected much later by Gem Bluestone and his son, Corbin. Though it had seemed a short time to Jarred, Georgia had spent 8000 years in the future, and had in fact become a goddess. Both agreed that too much had changed. He is now turning his energies to building a cabin at Ramsay Point, helping his brother Jorael, and trying to comfort Cephilia, who mourns the absence of her love, Trent Draven.
