BACKGROUND: Kyla was born in the land of Belamy, in the Kingdom of Barthom, (formerly Rodan). Her father was a psychic, and her mother was a sorceress. Her mother, Rael, died giving birth to her, potentially indicating that Kyla could become a powerful sorceress as well. Kyla proved her potential at the age of two when she shape-shifted into a black unicorn, her mother's favorite non-human form. Rael could also shift wolf, something which Kyla hopes to master soon. Kyla currently lives in Inglenook, a beautiful home provided to her by Draegon. It lies within Draegon's realm, but just outside the boundaries of the Vast Night Kingdom. She moved there so that she could take care of Draegon in his illness, while Gem searched for a cure. At first troubled by Draegon's interest in her, she quickly fell in love with him, becoming his live-in lover, and bearing two children. They recently became engaged to be married.
